Jam jars store jam. The Sun Jar collects and stores sun shine so that you can use it at night.

Simply place the Sun Jar by the window so that it can collect energy during the day. As darkness falls, watch it radiate a warm ambient glow.

Designed by Tobias Wong. Made with traditional Mason jar and high tech energy efficient lighting. Captured inside the jar are - a highly effective solar cell, rechargeable batteries and low energy LED lamps. When the jar is placed in sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. This energy is then used at night to power the three LED lamps inside the jar.

Recommended to place under sun light for best effect. For best results, we suggest you leave the Sun Jar switched off while charging. This will make the batteries last longer too.

Great for Indoor and Outdoor use.
